Trafalgar Launches 2019/2020 Asia Program

Trafalgar has announced the launch of its new 2019/2020 Asia program, which features a total of 27 trips, including 10 new itineraries for 2019, to 44 cities across Japan, India, Nepal, China and South East Asia.


“We are very excited to launch our immersive and in-depth Trafalgar 2019 Asia program,” said Wolf Paunic, president of Trafalgar and Costsaver Canada. “With over 27 handcrafted trips, we know our loyal Canadian travel agents will connect clients with the soul of Asia like never explored before.”


 Some of the new additions to the program include:


  • Best of China with Yangtze Cruise: This 15-day trip starts in Beijing, followed by Shanghai and then a cruise along the Yangtze River. It also features an JoinTrafalgar experience in Xi’an, where clients meet students and teachers at a local primary school;
  • Classic Japan: A 10-day tour that combines ancient sites with modern cities, including a trip aboard the high-speed bullet trains to Kyoto and Hiroshima. Clients will visit Nara, the first permanent capital city of Japan, spend three nights in Kyoto, and enjoy an exclusive ‘Be My Guest’ experience with a local farmer;
  • India’s Golden Triangle with Varanasi – ME to WE Option: This 11-day tour, clients will experience a JoinTrafalgar adventure with a local Rajasthan community, along with taking part in a sustainable development project with ME to WE.
  • Nepal Adventure: On this four-day tour clients travel to the spiritual centre of Nepal where they will take part in a JoinTrafalgar ‘Make A Difference’ experience and visit a Tibetan refugee camp;
  • Treasure of Thailand with Phuket: This new 14-day tour takes clients to a local primary school and the ‘Friends of the Asian Elephants’ hospital before heading to the island of Phuket.
