Sunwing has announced the addition of Miami to its winter program, with up to 10 direct flights a week from four Canadian gateways: Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.

Starting 1DEC, Sunwing will offer Saturday, Sunday and Thursday departures out of YYZ, and Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday flights out of YUL. Flights out of YQB will start on 8DEC, while weekly Saturday flights out of YOW begin on 15DEC.

“Miami is a hub for beach and city stays and much more,” said Reg Mendes, Sunwing’s vice president of USA and Cruises. “This new flight program will offer our customers more ways to explore Florida together with even more convenient cruise package options.”

All Miami vacation packages include a car rental, and clients can opt to stay at Residence Inn Miami Sunny Isles Beach, which offers spacious suites with fully-equipped kitchens, or Sole on the Ocean, also on Sunny Isles Beach, which features an oceanfront pool and is close to area restaurants and activities.

Clients can also choose to stay in Fort Lauderdale, a short drive from Miami, where Sunwing offers packages at Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort and Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort.

Sunwing also offers cruise packages with Norwegian Cruise Line and MSC Cruises sailing from Miami (including transfers from the airport to nearby PortMiami) that offer a wide range of Caribbean itineraries.  Customers could also choose a cruise & stay package and enjoy a vacation in Miami or Fort Lauderdale before or after they sail.
