Globus is highlighting a special European tour that enables clients to experience many of the significant sites of WWI and WWII.

The 10-day ‘Great Canadian War Memorial’ tour visits museums, memorials and special sites that commemorate Canada’s contributions during both World Wars. “These tours have clearly struck a nerve with those who have a personal connection or abiding interest in European history,” said Stéphanie Bishop of Globus’ Canada office, which has been offering the tours since 2008.

The tour visits France and Belgium, stopping at the Memorial at Vimy Ridge and the Canadian cemeteries in Reviers and Dieppe, as well as the Newfoundland Memorial Park at Beaumont Hamel. Other sites include the landing beaches of Normandy, the Juno Beach Memorial Centre, Amiens and Ypres in Belguim.

There are eight departures slated for 2019, between APR and OCT, and all include first-class accommodation, transportation by WiFi-equipped coach, many meals, all admission fees, and the services of an expert tour director. There is also an optional, three-day extension to London, including transportation by Eurostar, accommodation and a half-day sightseeing.

Additionally, when clients book their 2019 tour by 27NOV, they will save 10%.
