Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold are highlighting their premium and luxury escorted journeys to Egypt, which is seeing a comeback in popularity as a top destination for 2019. According to a SEP 2018 UNWTO global travel and tourism annual report, Egypt has seen a 55% increase in visitors, making it the world’s fastest growing destination.

Egypt must be on every client’s 2019 bucket list,” said Ulla Hefel Böhler, CEO of Insight Vacations & Luxury Gold.I travelled to Egypt previously and loved the country then, with all it had to offer. We were welcomed back this year with open arms and felt perfectly comfortable and at ease at all times, without any crowds around. Apart from experiencing the incredible sights with our Egyptologist, it was also the personal touches that made a huge difference. We visited a local family home to learn more about Egyptian traditions and their way of life.

“The heightened interest in Egypt and our commitment to supporting our long-term Egyptian partners has overwhelmingly been reflected in the number of client bookings, which have risen by 145% from 2017. Luxury Gold has in fact, already sold out of its seven-day ‘Elegance of Egypt’ Summer 2019 journey,” said Böhler.

Guests will explore Egypt with their Egyptologist on the following guided journeys which include Insight Experiences and exclusive Luxury Gold VIP Experiences:

The nine-day ‘Wonders of Egypt’ with Insight Vacations, which starts in Cairo and visits the Great Pyramids, Luxor, the West Bank, Philae Island, and more;

The 12-day ‘Splendours of Egypt’ with Insight Vacations, which also starts in Cairo and includes a six-day cruise along the Nile. Travellers visit Giza, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, Aswan, Memphis and more; and

The 12-day ‘Elegance of the Nile’ with Luxury Gold, which starts with sightseeing in Cairo and features a seven-day river cruise on the all-suite River Tosca. In Luxur, guests will stay at the five-star Winter Palace Luxor Hotel overlooking the Valley of the Kings.
