Gran Caribe’s latest all-inclusive hotel, Meliá Internacional, operated by the Meliá Hotels International chain, opened its doors in Varadero on 15FEB.

The 11-floor, 946-room hotel stands on a stretch of Cuba’s most famous beach, which was ranked third in the World's Best Beaches category at TripAdvisor’s Travellers' Choice 2018.

The five-star property includes Meliá’s exclusive The Level and The Level Adults Only sections, which offer added luxury services and facilities like a private social space, wonderful views of the hotel surroundings and butler service.

With 15 restaurants on the ground floor, food options range from signature cuisine to Japanese food, Italian and other Mediterranean flavours and local dishes. Similarly, 16 bars give guests plenty of different settings to choose from with cocktails made by master mixologists.

On the hotel’s top floor, the Yhi Spa has an infinity pool and a new Teen Spa geared towards teenagers who want to share treatments with a group of friends or accompanied by family.

Business travellers can benefit from Meliá Internacional’s MICE offering, with a modern conference and convention centre, seven meeting areas and a 1,000 square metre ballroom. Alternative terrace, pool, garden and beach options are also available to cater to events.
