Canadian Visitors To Los Cabos Topped 100,000 In 2018

The Los Cabos Tourism Board has announced that the destination welcomed more than 100,000 Canadian visitors in 2018, a 12% increase from 2017. 

“Los Cabos remains one of the destinations of choice for Canadians in Mexico,” said Rodrigo Esponda, Managing Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board, “and we are very proud of the premier product and quality of service we are offering our visitors.” 

Esponda says some of the travel trends driving Canadian growth are an increasing interest in ecotourism, adults seeking more temperate winter vacations, wellness and solo travel.  

This year, Los Cabos will introduce more than 2,000 new rooms and five new properties including the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, Vidanta East Cape, Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos, Nobu Hotel Lost Cabos, Garza Blanca and Ritz Carlton Reserve. six new luxury properties to its hotel collection.
