Canadian distribution and management software company Softvoyage has acquired a majority stake in Buenos-Aires-based Pythagoras, a travel tech company specializing in the development of solutions for the global tourism industry.
“Travel e-commerce is rapidly increasing in South America and with Softvoyage products and expertise in this area, we will be focusing on working with Pythagoras to improve and increase travel distribution for all of their clients,” says Moise Levy, Co-Founder of Softvoyage.
Levy says he forecasts good growth opportunities for the Pythagoras product in North America.
Pythagoras will continue to run the day-to-day business from Buenos Aires with the leadership team retaining their existing roles, but will integrate Softvoyage’s technology into its practice.
The company will be completing a full analysis in the upcoming weeks on how Pythagoras customers can benefit from the new partnership, as well as how to maximize the internal talent for new development.
