Air Canada has announced that flights Montreal-Cancun flight AC2426 (formerly ZX1882) and Cancun-Montreal flight AC2427 (formerly ZX1883) are now scheduled to be operated by Air Transat between 1-30APR 2019.
The temporary schedule adjustment comes as a result of Transport Canada’s suspension of the Boeing 737MAX aircraft in Canadian airspace.
Air Canada’s general conditions of carriage will continue to apply to the client’s new flight and members of Aeroplan and partner frequent flyer programs will continue to be eligible to earn miles on this flight, subject to the type of fare being purchased.
When it’s time to check-in, standard Air Canada check-in options apply, including self-service on mobile or at a kiosk at the airport.
Clients with bookings made prior to 26MAR 2019 also have the following options available:
· Rebook on another flight. All change fees and charges will be waived if origin, destination and cabin remain the same and if you re-book within 60 days of the original departure date.
o All other re-protection guidelines under the schedule change policy found at aircanada.com/agents apply
o Use endorsement code SKCHCUN2019 for rebooking
· Cancel the flight – without penalty – for a full refund
o Use Refund Waiver Code ACUSKEDCHG + flight number
Clients will also be entitled to an Air Canada eCoupon of $250 CAD and a 20% off promotional code, valid for one year, for a future booking, based on their booking class.
