Trafalgar's newly announced series of Africa trips for 2020 offers 11 itineraries across nine different countries, including South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Egypt and Morocco.
With several generations of Tollmans -- owners of Trafalgar's parent company, The Travel Corporation -- born in Africa, the continent holds particular significance to the family.
Thus, the trips have been curated with family memories and connections front and centre, with each inclusion, optional, meal, and accommodation selected for an experience that encapsulates the spirit of each place.
Highlights from the 2020 African itineraries include:
Cape Town Explorer, 8 days: ‘Connect with Locals’ alongside Tollman family friend, Stefan, who will treat guests to a traditional braai (barbecue).
Namibia Adventure, 13 days: Guests will ‘Dive into Culture’, learning about the traditions of the OvaHimba tribe, considered to be the last semi-nomadic people of Namibia. Overnight accommodation includes the 5-star Red Carnation Hotel, the Oyster Box.
Wonders of Kenya, 9 days: Guests will ‘Make A Difference’ with no less than four JoinTrafalgar experiences, including visiting the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to learn about the Orphans’ Project that rescues and rehabilitates elephants, rhinos and other wildlife.
"As the #AgentsFirst brand, we want to ensure our agent partners can sell with confidence that Trafalgar is the right choice for clients. The level of personalization and family love we have put into these trips is unmatchable, and we guarantee that guests will leave with an understanding and passion for Africa in the same that we feel," says Gavin Tollman, Trafalgar’s Global CEO.
With the brand's 2019 Acclaim trip taking place in Africa this year, every booking goes towards getting agents one step closer to exploring this continent with Trafalgar.
