U River Cruises Unveils 3 New 2020 Itineraries & Brings Back The B
The B is back in 2020.
U River Cruises has three new Europe itineraries and the relaunch of The B ship for 2020.
As well as relaunching The B ship for 2020, U River Cruises has unveiled new Europe itineraries, including three brand-new sailings debuting in APR 2020. New offerings include added overnight stays, complimentary happy hour every night, and more active excursions.
"Eastern Europe is hot and we're excited to offer three brand-new U itineraries in the region for 2020 as The B rejoins our fleet," says Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of U River Cruises. "U's itineraries are created with active, social and culturally curious travellers in mind – free time to allow travellers to wander on their own, unique choice of active and immersive excursions with local hosts, and a vibrant onboard environment that encourages fun, social connections with like-minded guests."
Amsterdam & Brussels Bound
Beginning on 3APR, 2020, The B's new 8-day itinerary sails between Amsterdam and Brussels, travelling to new destinations for the U brand. Guests will explore Rotterdam, Middelburg, Ghent and Antwerp, as well as Brussels, where a U Time excursion teaches them about practice of traditional Belgian chocolate making. In Antwerp, U's local guide will show guests the best local breweries, bars and hot spots.
Beginning on 10APR, 2020, this 8-day itinerary sails between Nuremberg and Vienna, stopping in ports such has Regensburg, Passau, Linz, Melk and Krems. Travellers will experience U Time excursions such as a street art tour of Linz, a hipster tour of Munich via a nine-seater Bulli, a hike in the Wachau Valley and a special class to learn the Viennes Waltz.
Eastern Europe Escape
Beginning on 24APR, 2020, the new Eastern Europe Escape itinerary visits both popular and lesser-known European destinations. Sailing between Vienna and Belgrade, the trip also stops in Bratislava, Budapest, Mohacs, and Novi Sad. In Vienna, a U Time tour will take guests through a bespoke coffee shop while in Bratislava, a local expert will take guests off the beaten path to top Soviet monuments.
Rolling on the Rhine
The updated Rolling on the Rhine itinerary, setting sail on 17APR, 2020 between Amsterdam and Frankurt, makes stops in Hoorn, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Koblenz, and Rudesheim. New excursions on this sailing include a nighttime Crime Cruise, the Taste of Holland Triathalon, and Game of Wines, the ultimate excursion for Game of Thrones fans.
U's itineraries include three daily meals, select shore excursions, complimentary Wi-Fi, onboard local U hosts, complimentary happy hour every day, onboard gratuities and other popular activities.
