If there was any confusion about who is leading the Travel Leaders Network Canada organization, Roger Block, President, Travel Leaders Network has cleared it up: Christine James, VP TL Network Canada, and her team remain in charge.

Possible confusion came in the wake of TL Network hiring former Ensemble Co-President Lindsay Pearlman as Senior Vice President, International Leisure. But his role does not include Canada.

“Lindsay will oversee our expansion with leisure-focused markets throughout Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific,” said Block in a letter to members. “He will work closely with Angeles Yugdar, Senior Vice President of International Markets for Travel Leaders Network."

Block points out that TL Network Canada is not part of the company’s ‘international’ group.

“Christine James, Vice President of TL Network Canada, and her team will continue to do their outstanding work, supporting all operations for TL Network. Canada remains a part of our North America operations, which is separate from our international division,” Block wrote.

“Through our international expansion, we now have new partner agencies in more than 65 countries. This continued growth enables us to leverage our collective strengths and better serve all of our members through increased buying power and broader international representation.”

Block concluded by writing: “Please join me in welcoming Lindsay to our Travel Leaders Network family and continue to reach out to Christine and her team for all matters related to Canada.”
