Contiki Launches 5 New Small Group Adventures For 2020-21 Asia Product
Contiki, the travel company offering global adventures for 18-to-35 year-olds, has launched its 2020 Asia product, including five brand new Small Group Adventures across India, Nepal, Vietnam and Japan.
The new itineraries will have clients uncovering more of South East and Southern Asia than before, visiting popular spots for each country like trekking in Kathmandu, bullet trains in Tokyo, Chitwan National Park in Nepal and a Ganges sunrise boat ride in India – all in 10 days or less. Clients can save 15% on all Asia adventures when they book by 2SEP, 2019.
“Contiki’s new and improved Asia product for 2020-21 features trips designed to truly immerse travellers throughout Asia, with a range of new cultural, local, food, wellness/active and ethical experiences. We’re excited to open up even more of Asia to our clients than ever before,” says Sheralyn Berry, president of Contiki Canada.
All itineraries in the Asia program are Small Group Adventures, accommodating groups of 30 or less.
Clients will have the opportunity to explore the ruins of Sarnath, the birthplace of Buddhism in India; visit the temples of the Dinh and Le dynasties in Vietnam; witness the evening Ganga Aarti rituals from Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi and visit the homes of the Red Dzao and Black H'moug tribes.
Contiki’s complete Asia product delivers a variety of ethical experiences on each trip, supported by Contiki Cares, powered by the TreadRight Foundation. Guests can have experiences like a visit to Tree Alliance Restaurant, Cambodia, teaching valuable skills to former street kids; or the Ock Pop Tok Centre, Laos, supporting female artisans. Through Contiki’s partnership with WE Charity, travellers also have the option to book a ME to WE volunteer trip in Northern India as a solo excursion or add-on to Contiki’s Eternal India trip.
