G Adventures and has added eight new trips to its National Geographic Journeys collection for 2020, which includes three new countries -- Ireland, Singapore and Greece.

National Geographic Journeys, now on sale and available to agents, combine hands-on experiences, local connections, and a range of optional activities.

The new additions, which start from US$2,599 per person, visit multiple countries on three continents and range from eight to 22 days in length.

Each small-group tour is led by a specially-trained Chief Experience Officer, but also allows travellers flexibility and free time.

Adding to the 91 different National Geographic Journeys in 54 countries, the new trips for 2020 offer travellers combinable itineraries that allow more time to explore a wider region.

For example, the 16-day trip to Brazil, Argentina, and Chile will take travellers on an action-packed adventure where they will tour the Mendoza wine country, dance the tango in Buenos Aires and enjoy the carioca lifestyle in Rio de Janeiro.

Some of the new tours for 2020 are:

Iconic Ireland – 9 Days

Guests will uncover Celtic culture, admire medieval architecture, and delve into historic Dublin and the “rebel city” of Cork as they follow the roots of Irish culture to its core.

Greece: Ancient Ruins & Iconic Islands – 12 Days

Travellers can explore the monuments of Athens and the Cyclades islands, as well as the olive-covered hills and rugged coasts of the Peloponnese, where some of Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey played out.

Singapore to Bangkok Journey – 15 Days

This journey explores three Southeast Asian countries – Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand -- from their bustling markets and museums, to tranquil temples and turquoise waters.
