Contiki Offers Three New Trips In Its Africa 2020-21 Program

Contiki, a travel company offering global adventures for 18-35-year olds, reveals three brand new trips in two new destinations Namibia and Botswana in its Africa 2020-21 program.

“Our Africa product has been in incredibly high demand since it launched, and we’re excited to be able to offer more of Africa to clients than ever before, now that we’ve expanded through Namibia and Botswana,” says Sheralyn Berry, President of Contiki Canada. “We can’t wait for young travellers to experience the new adventures for themselves."

Clients can save 10% on select small group itineraries when they book by 16SEP, 2019.

All Africa adventures are led by Trip Managers and Local Guides and are small groups, with no more than 30 like-minded travellers aged 18-35. Transportation is included, from internal flights to open-top safari vehicles and 4x4’s for cruising the salt flats.

Contiki’s complete Africa product offering delivers the option to have local and unique experiences on every trip, with many ethical experiences aligned with its sustainability commitment through Contiki Cares, powered by TreadRight. The new included & optional ethical experiences include a new Protrack Anti-poaching Centre experience near Kruger, and a visit to Ju/’Hoansi Living Museum Indigenous Village in Namibia, and many more experiences.

The three new itineraries include:

Okavango Delta and Deserts

On this 13-day itinerary, clients will experience the ultimate safari adventure through the luxe lodges, featuring pools to beat the heat, and the breath-taking landscapes of Botswana and Namibia. Clients will travel in 4x4 jeeps over the Makgadikgadi Salt Pan, stay in a treehouse overlooking the Kavango River, and visit the tallest dune in Namibia.

Southern Africa Safari

This South African adventure covers the highlights of Southern Africa. From Cape Town to Windhoek, clients spend 23 days travelling through Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. Clients will visit Table Mountain, the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans and one of the 7 Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls.

Cape Town Explorer

Travellers seeking a little more independence can discover Cape Town on this 3-day unescorted itinerary. Clients will stay in a seafront hotel and receive a hop-on hop-off bus pass so they can explore the 'Mother City' at their own leisure.
