Avalon Entices Canadians To River Cruise With New TV Commercials
This week, Avalon Waterways is cruising into Canadian households with two new commercial spots serving as a friendly invitation for Canadians to stop waiting and try a river cruise.
The new ads – which can be viewed here and here -- will run on numerous channels including national ones such as Bravo, CTV News Channel, TSN, Showcase and the Weather Network.
“Who says you can’t rise when you like, dine when you want and explore as you wish?” asked Pam Hoffee, managing director of Avalon Waterways. “On an Avalon cruise, our guests can follow a whim and have the freedom to see and explore the world as they please. With a plethora of included excursions on every cruise, from in-depth sightseeing to local discoveries and active pursuits, as well as unlimited independent exploration, we invite our travellers to do whatever they want, when they want."
The line's new Avalon Choice program is featured in its ads that showcase the Classic, Discovery and Active excursions – included in the price of every cruise - in addition to the company’s Suite Ships, which offer guests two full decks of award-winning Panorama Suites with the widest-opening windows in river cruising, the industry’s only Open-Air Balconies, and beds that face the views.
“Whether clients want to walk in the footsteps of legends, walk down the street with the locals or accelerate their walk into a hike, our new Avalon Choice program presents our guests with the opportunity to go their own way each day of their cruise," said Hoffee.
In a statement, Avalon says travel advisors can benefit from the new advertising with increased awareness, the best deals of the year and complimentary marketing tools and support.
“We offer travel advisors a huge array of marketing tools to complement these ads,” says Stéphanie Bishop of the Globus family of brands, Avalon’s parent company. “All they have to do is visit www.agentlingo.ca for their own copies of the new commercials, email templates, social media posts, images and more – all designed to help increase their sales and revenues."
