WestJet expects to host more than 1,000 travel agents during its fifth annual Fall Travel Trade Expos. Last week WestJet was in Victoria and Kelowna, B.C. Today (23SEPT), the roadshow will hit Winnipeg, and then it’s on to Winnipeg (25SEPT), Saskatoon (26SEPT), Regina (27SEPT) and Ottawa (8OCT).
Following the annual Spring Travel Trade Expos that took place earlier this year, the Fall Travel Trade expos focus on an expanded list of cities.
At the events, travel agents will hear what’s new at WestJet Vacations and will be able to interact with the airline’s preferred hotel and destination partners. In each city, WestJet’s BDMs will focus on the WestJet vision to enhance, evolve and expand into a global network carrier. Product enhancements, new Dreamliner routes and the airline’s Business cabin will also be a key focus.
“It is an exciting time at WestJet as we continue to add more routes and frequencies, new destinations and focus on our Business cabin and premium traveller on our Dreamliner aircraft,” said Jane Clementino, WestJet Director, Agency Sales. “These events give us a chance to meet our valued travel trade partners in person to understand their needs and gather feedback in an effort to continue our successful relationships.”
To thank partners for their support, WestJet will also be giving away prizes in each city along with promotional items for each attendee.
