APT Adds New Experiences In 2020/2021New Zealand & Australia Program

APT (Australian Pacific Touring), a leading escorted operator in New Zealand and Australia, has launched its 2020/21 brochure in conjunction with Goway Travel.
The new 84-page brochure offers touring options at the ‘Premier’ and ‘Value-Plus’ levels and this year it includes an expanded Kimberley and Outback Wilderness and cruising program.
Once again APT is offering a choice of savings. ‘Earlybird Launch’ savings enable clients to an approximate 5% discount on payment of deposit only. Savings of up to 10% are also available for clients willing to book and pay in full at time of booking. Additionally, APT is again offering solo traveller savings on select tours.
NEW: Expanded ‘Freedom of Choice’ options
APT’s Premier Escorted vacations in New Zealand and in Tasmania allow guests on some tour days to personalize their sightseeing at no extra cost. There are 40 ‘Freedom of Choice’ touring and dining Options on offer.
Starting in 2020 APT are giving guests the opportunity to take on new experiences across the antipodean region. They will now have new ‘Freedom of Choice; options in Auckland including an immersive Haka experience or they can head for the seas aboard a heritage sailboat to cruise Auckland Harbour. The All Blacks Experience is an interactive showcase that puts the guests in front of the full force of an All Blacks Haka, before they can try their hand at kicking, catching, line-out and accuracy skills against the All Blacks.
In New Zealand APT offers a 17-day New Zealand Wonderland Premier Escorted Tour travelling from Auckland to Christchurch. There are many variations that include Freedom of Choice touring and Deluxe hotel stays. Prices start at $7,595 per person including the launch saving.
APT also offers a similar Auckland to Christchurch itinerary on its 15-day Value-Plus Escorted Tour and other duration variations, with stays at moderate hotels suiting those on a tighter budget. Prices start at $4,995 per person including the launch saving.
In Australia the 15-day Treasures of Australia APT Value-Plus Tour gives guests a final chance to see the spectacular Field of Lights in Uluru. Guests will watch as thousands of lights illuminate the vast expanse in a kaleidoscope of colour – only available on October to November departures in 2020. Guests can also extend their trip with a night in Perth, before boarding the Indian Pacific Rail for three nights journeying through the Nullarbor desert plains, before arriving in Sydney. Prices start at $5,995 per person including the launch saving.
NEW: Outback Wilderness Adventures – Cooktown & Cape York and South Coast Explorer
The 11-day Cooktown & Cape York Tour explores Australia’s stunning Northern Queensland region. It’s a small-group 4WD tour with no more than 22 guests and includes exclusive access to the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve and a scenic flight over the 330,000 acres reserve. This journey is priced including the launch saving from $9,095 per person twin share.
APT is are highlighting the 7-day South Coast Explorer Tour from Sydney to Melbourne, which ventures into picturesque national parks including visits to hot springs and caves. A highlight is a stay at the Yarrangobilly Cave House, an award-winning property set within a national Park. This journey is priced including the launch saving from $4,295 per person twin share.
In 2020 APT will feature a spectacular 10-day small-ship expedition cruise taking in the Kimberley Coast in Western Australia, with epic cascades, fascinating reefs and gorges carved out by powerful rivers. Prices start at $11,095 per person including a $700 per person launch saving.
