The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has launched a new Japan Travel e-Learning Program for Canadian travel agents.

The course aims to equip agents with a superior knowledge of Japan so they are better able to showcase the appeals of the destination to Canadian travellers.

Starting 1FEB, 2020, Canadian advisors can register for Course 1, where they will learn about major Japanese attractions, transportation tips, seasonal hotspots, suggested itineraries, must-try regional cuisine and more.

After successfully completing the course, agents will receive a Japan Travel Advisor certificate and may advance to Course 2 to earn a Japan Travel Specialist certificate.

Graduates receive benefits such as news updates and priority invitation to Japan tourism events.

To celebrate the launch of the new program, JNTO Canada is offering agents who complete Course 1 the chance to experience Japan firsthand. Agents can enter a draw for roundtrip air tickets to Japan courtesy of Air Canada, All Nippon Airways, or Japan Airlines.

Agents who complete Course 2 by 31MAR, 2020 will also be able to apply for a place on a FAM tour to Japan, hosted by JNTO.
