Air Georgian Offers Two Bombardier CRJ’s For Rescue Charters
Bruce Parkinson, Open Jaw
Air Georgian’s Mike Miguel has informed Open Jaw that the airline has two Bombardier CJ’s ready to go and available for travel agents to move people back.
“We can be ready within three hours from YYZ airport, and heading both to the USA or Caribbean,” Miguel said.
The news comes as Canada is closing to its borders to non-residents, (except US citizens) and scheduled airlines are grounding fleets and trimming services.
The Air Georgian Bombardier CRJ100/200 aircraft are available for rescue operations in North America, Mexico and Caribbean. Details include:
39 passenger jet service
Canadian crew to go out of YYZ Airport within three hours of booking the charter aircraft
Increased sanitation as per Transport Canada & Health Canada, in place
One flight attendant on-board
Both airplanes recently finished flying as Air Canada Express
Air Georgian has a team of 50 people running different business units, including flight ops, maintenance, etc.
