KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will resume flights to YYC and YVR in JUL as part of a further expansion to its route network.
Flights between AMS-YYC will be twice a week and three times weekly between AMS-YVR. Schedule details will be released at a later time. KLM continued to serve YYZ through the coronavirus pandemic.
Compared to JUN, KLM's overall number of flights will increase by more than 60%. Still, that's 25 to 30% of the normal number of flights, said the carrier in a news release.
"Our customers want to travel again," said Pieter Elbers, President and CEO of KLM. "We are therefore expanding the network slowly and carefully. With all the hygiene measures taken on board and on the ground, we are doing this as safely as possible."
