5Continents added boating holiday provider LeBoat to its portfolio.
5Continents offers a sales representation and transactional platform in Canada to worldwide inbound operators and other suppliers.
“We initially planned to roll out this amazing product in MAR with all destinations… then the pandemic happened making travel to Europe unlikely for the summer. One destination is, however, perfect in the current climate – the Rideau Canal in Ontario. Travelling within Canada will probably be Canadians' number one choice this year,” says David Boigne, 5Continents Managing Partner.
The packages combine an eight-day boat rental with two nights in Ottawa, transfers, and hop-on hop-off tickets for a total of 10 days. Other packages combining Montreal and/or Toronto and Niagara ranging from 13 to 15 days are also available.
“We really wanted to support the travel community with products that can be sold immediately and turned into sales for this summer and fall. Plus, clients who have enjoyed a Le Boat vacation in Canada this year are most likely going to want to repeat that experience in other destinations in 2021,” says Michele Rauzon, Director of Sales for 5Continents.
No boating license is required to book a holiday with LeBoat. The company has a fleet of canal boats (penichette) and offers sailing opportunities in Europe and Canada.
“With no experience or boat license required and boat rental options that will fit all budgets and group sizes, Le Boat brings the private cruising experience to everyone (no longer reserved for the “Rich & Famous”),” says Lisa McLean, North American Marketing Manager for LeBoat. “We are thrilled to partner with 5Continents and help more people enjoy a dream vacation in Canada or Europe when the time is right.”
A Canada summer/fall 2020 LeBoat holiday package section has been created on the 5Continents website. All packages can be customized.
