TAP Air Portugal has added new nonstop service between Montreal and Lisbon, complementing the carrier’s existing Toronto-Lisbon flights.
Flights will operate three times weekly on an Airbus A321LR which features Business, Economy and EconomyXtra classes of service. Flights leave YUL on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:40 p.m., arriving at LIS at 8:20 a.m. the next day (all local time). From LIS, flights depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 7:50 p.m. and arrive at YUL at 10:35 p.m.
“We’re excited to be growing in Canada again,” said Carlos Paneiro, TAP Air Portugal’s VP, Sales for the Americas.
“Now we offer Lisbon nonstops from both Toronto and Montreal – and soon we will also add nonstop service from Toronto to Ponta Delgada in The Azores.”
TAP's “Book with Confidence” program allows a free re-booking for all new tickets booked through 31AUG, for travel through 31OCT. While the change fee is waived, any fare difference are still due and changes must be made at least 21 days before departure.
TAP’s YYZ-LIS service will operate twice weekly in AUG, building to five times weekly in SEP.
Canada is one of the countries on the European Union's list of nations approved for travel to Europe.
