Travel Professionals International (TPI) says it grew its sales by 17% in fiscal year 2020 over the previous year, signalling "a strong and positive outlook" for 2021 and 2022 bookings.

The 17% growth in sales is an indication that "clients are ready to travel and are just waiting for the restrictions to be lifted," says Gedeon. "Our advanced bookings for travel in 2021 and 2022 are up by 43% versus same time last year. We have seen an increased demand for domestic travel."

Even during such a tough year, 15% of the network's advisors grew their sales year-over-year and achieved a higher recognition standing in the network’s Velocity rewards program, Gedeon says. TPI's Velocity rewards and recognition has several levels and is based on advisors' commission earned.
