Vision Stakes Out Top 10 Position In Virtuoso

Luxury travel network Virtuoso has named Canada’s Vision Travel Solutions a “National Account,” which puts it in an elite group of top producing agencies worldwide. “Vision Travel Solutions is our largest agency member in Canada and has emerged as a top-producer within our network as well,” says Matthew D. Upchurch, CTC, Chairman & CEO of Virtuoso.

“Their engagement in our training programs, innovation teams, advisory board and committees, and support of our preferred supplier partners has allowed them to grow at a leading pace while also increasing their luxury product index to 54%. This is a significant achievement for Vision, and we are proud of our dynamic partnership and their efforts.”

Being named a National Account comes with an increased level of resources and support from Virtuoso, including advisor training and dedicated marketing.

Vision Travel now boasts 16 locations, 3 of which were added in the past 16 months along with more than 100 additional advisors to its existing sales force of 250 advisors.

Vision’s Stephanie Anevich says Vision Travel has seen a 12% jump in its luxury index, meaning higher-end types of travel products. The agency has also committed to staying at the forefront by stressing the importance of education. For 2014, their advisors completed more than 1,700 courses in the Virtuoso Travel Academy, as compared to 544 courses completed in 2013.
