Open Jaw

TS will offer more connecting flights to its Europe program this summer, a move it says will provide more flexibility to pax in Western Canada, Quebec and the Maritimes.

Residents of Western Canada can add Dublin, Rome and Barcelona to their vacation options by connecting in YYZ. From YQB, additional destinations including Rome, Brussels and Bordeaux will be available when connecting via YUL. From YHZ, this wider offering includes Rome, Brussels and Paris via domestic connections at YUL.

"We are very pleased to provide more travellers with access to our rich Europe program," said Jean-François Lemay, Air Transat General Manager. “Adding new connecting segments allows us to improve our current transatlantic program and offer maximum flexibility to our clients, who also benefit from the superior experience Air Transat has been providing for over 25 years."

The new connecting flight segments will also be sold separately, catering to travellers seeking domestic flights.

If Transat wants to sell more Europe seats, then they should pay a realistic and equitable commission level to retail agencies in Canada !
