ACV says the dedicated role underpins its longstanding relationship
with Sandals. The brand's 20 Caribbean resorts and 3 Beaches family-friendly
resorts are all offered as part of the Air Canada Vacations portfolio.
In her new role, Wallace will act as a liaison between ACV and Sandals, with
the mandate of creating synergy in both brands from a product
and marketing perspective; increasing Air Canada Vacations' expertise in
the Sandals and Beaches product and offering a best in class service to
Supported by the Sandals dedicated Reservations team, Sandals dedicated
Groups specialists along with other dedicated commercial functions, Wallace
will be responsible for training in all areas of the commercial business with a
focus on strategies for growth.
Wallace worked for ACV for 8 years through 2011, holding various roles
in the operator's Product Development department including Manager,
Product Development English Caribbean.
She spent the past 3 years as a professor in the Faculty of Business,
School of Tourism at both Sheridan College and Seneca College.
