Transat Launching Domestic Connectors For Winter Trans Atlantic Routes
TS will offer flights this winter between YYZ and YUL allowing pax to
connect with its YUL-PAR winter schedule and also promote the YUL-YYZ route for
pax to connect to LGW, MAN or GLA. In addition a new YYC-YVR service
will provide connections from YYC to LGW.
"Based on the success of our connecting program for this summer, we
are pleased to provide travellers with access to more of our European
destinations this winter," says Annick Guérard, General Manager for
Transat Tours Canada. "Adding new connecting flights allows us to take
advantage of our narrow-body fleet and further develop the transatlantic
market. For Canadians, this translates into a world of new options when it
comes time to planning their vacations."
The new flights between YYZ and PAR and YUL and
the U.K. will operate from Sunday to Thursday
inclusively effective November.
Connecting flights will also be offered for AGP for pax travelling from YYZ to YUL
effective January 2016 and for 3
destinations in Portugal (LIS and OPO as of November 2015 and FAO as of January 2016) for pax travelling from YUL to YYZ.
The airline says the new flights between YYZ and YUL and YYC and YVR will
also be attractive to domestic travellers, both leisure and corporate, and they
will run during peak business travel hours.
