Huntington Travel Names Craig Kijek President

Huntington Travel Services (HTS) has named veteran travel industry executive Craig Kijek its President. The consolidator and tour operator`s CEO Kiran Budhdev in making the announcement said he had `been dancing with Craig for 15 years` as a competitor and couldn`t imagine a better fit to build on HTS`s growth strategy and lead the company`s day to day operations.


“We look forward to having Craig join the team, and bring with him his wealth of industry knowledge as we enter a new wave of growth in the Canadian marketplace,” said Budhdev. “We are at heart a family business, and it is with much excitement that we welcome Craig to the Huntington family.”

“I am excited to join Huntington and look forward to continue building a world-class travel consolidator and tour operator right here in Canada,” said Kijek.

Craig holds a degree from the University of Ottawa and also attended business school in France. He started his career with French airline UTA, and later joined CP Air in Canada. In 1991, Craig began working in the B2B travel industry, progressing to the role of Director General at Intair. Most recently, Craig served as Sr. Vice President Independent Travel with TravelBrands.


Huntington has been in operation since 1973 and became a full service wholesaler in 1988. They currently have a team currently of more than 70 full time employees.
