The Travel Industry Council of Ontario is reminding stakeholders that the recent amendments to Ontario Regulation 26/05 came into force on 01JUL.
TICO says it anticipates possible confusion in relation to the interpretation of the new provisions and has prepared an 8-page Explanatory Paper to assist stakeholders.
The following is a summary of the amendments to the regulation:

All-in pricing. This provision will require registered businesses to display the total price to consumers, including all fees, levies and other charges, when advertising travel services.
