As reported in late May, Transat Tours Canada will close its Toronto Customer Care Centre this Friday, 09SEP, with 67 jobs impacted.
Among those is Susan Diefenbaker, who has been Director of the call centre for over 23 years.
Reservations and Transat’s Customer Care centre will now be consolidated at Transat’s head offices in Montreal.
The vertically integrated organization has vowed to diversify and become a “different” company as it recovers from a poor winter in 2016 and looks to return to profitability.
