Canada Says Members Embracing Consolidation

Open Jaw says it has received “enormously positive feedback from member agencies across the Canadian agency network” to the decision that would combine forces with Travel Leaders Associates and Results! Travel into Travel Leaders Network. .

Effective 11JAN17, the 3 brands will merge to form a travel agency group with nearly 7,000 locations in the U.S. and Canada, 35,000 individual agencies and $17 billion in annual sales. 

“Our agency owners recognize that this change enables them to operate their business more effectively, regardless of their model. By coming together and creating one powerful network, we know that the move will be beneficial to our members and to our valuable supplier partners,” said Christine James, V.P. Canada. “Staying ahead of an evolving industry is paramount for us, and by combining forces as Travel Leaders Network, I firmly believe we can do that.”
