Meliá To Transform Cabo Real Into Paradisus Los Cabos

Meliá Hotels International is investing USD 35 million to convert and upgrade Meliá Cabo Real into Paradisus Los Cabos, with an opening date of 23DEC16.

The property will be the 9th Paradisus resort in Meliá’s portfolio and the 4th in Mexico. Accommodation highlights include 28 ocean view swim-up suites and more than 90 Royal Service guest rooms. Royal Service is the brand’s adult-only offering, providing personalized butler service – ideal for wedding parties and honeymooners or any client seeking an upgraded experience.

The resort will also feature a fine dining restaurant, Passion by Martin Berasategui, where guests will have the option to experience cuisine by 7 Michelin star-rated chef Martin Berasategui.

Located 25 minutes from SJD, on the largest swimmable beach in the Cabo Corridor, Paradisus Los Cabos is set on 14.5 acres and surrounded by a private golf course (Cabo Real Golf Course) and picturesque mountains.

The transformed resort will feature 350 guest rooms including the previously mentioned Royal Service and swim-up suites, plus 30 Family Concierge suites. Other amenities include 4 swimming pools, 3 bars and 6 restaurants, featuring a variety of international cuisines.

The Family Concierge section of the resort will feature private check-in/out, internet access, VIP lounge offering snacks and beverages during the day and the daytime assistance of certified Family Concierge staff to help families create memorable vacation experiences.

Similarly, guests at Royal Service suites will have their own private check-in/out lounge with views of the Sea of Cortez, where they can treat themselves to a daily continental breakfast buffet, snacks, coffee and premium beverages throughout the day as well as access to international newspapers. In Royal Service tradition, guests will enjoy contact when desired with their individualized certified butler, with cell phones provided at check-in. 

Restaurant options include Naos Fresh Market (international buffet), Bana (contemporary Asian), Market Grill (Italian-Argentinian), Mole (modern Mexican) and La Palapa (poolside Royal Service grill).

For an added cost, guests at Paradisus Los Cabos will have the opportunity to dine at Passion by Martin Berasategui. Guests can indulge in either an à la carte menu or a tasting menu curated by the chef.

For those that want to enjoy more of a party atmosphere, they can experience any of the resort’s bars and lounges, which include Avenue Bar, Wet Bar Swim-up Pool Bar and GABi, a 2 story beach club with a roof top terrace overlooking the ocean.
