Fuel Price Drives LH To Q1 Loss

Lufthansa has reported a loss of $508 million for the first three months of the year. Europe’s largest carrier was hit by rising fuel costs and overcapacity in the region. Unit revenues at LH-owned airlines, including Swiss, Austrian, and Eurowings, also fell significantly in the period.
