Academic Study Finds Travelling Can Increase COVID-19 Cases By 20%

A study from Harvard University, Princeton University, and the National Bureau of Economic Research found a "statistically significant" association between travelling and the spread of COVID-19. On average, a 10% decline in travel mobility was found to be associated with a 17% to 27% drop in cases per person.
