More Than 18,000 Turned Away From Canada Border Since Tourism Ban

Between 22MAR and 02SEP, Canada Border Services Agency turned back 18,431 people from entering the country since the government’s enactment of strict travel restrictions, many of whom were trying to enter Canada from the United States for sightseeing and shopping. This includes foreign nationals by boat, land, and air from the U.S.
