YVR Cancels $600-Million Expansion Project Due To COVID-19

The global collapse in air travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic has forced YVR to halt almost $600 million worth of capital expansion plans. The list of contracts terminated includes a new ground transportation centre, a new central utilities building, and a $350-million geothermal heating system, which was to be YVR’s single-most expensive capital expenditure ever.
