Tulum Hotels Report Higher Occupancy As Tourists Return

Hotel occupancy in Tulum, Quintana Roo, is currently at its highest level since the economic reopening, according to David Ortiz Mena, president of Tulum's hotel association. Mena said 32% of rooms are currently occupied and some properties have occupancy of close to 60%. He expects occupancy levels to increase further this month, despite SEP normally being part of the low season.
