UNWTO: Covid Costing Tourism US$460B In First Half Of 2020

International tourist arrivals plunged 93% in JUN when compared to 2019 and are down 65% during the first half of the year, shows the latest data from the UNWTO. The massive drop in int'l travel demand over the period JAN-JUN 2020 translates into a loss of 440 million international arrivals and about US$460 billion in export revenues from international tourism.
