CDG Overtakes LHR As Europe's Largest Airport

Heathrow has lost its place as Europe’s largest airport for the first time after being overtaken by Paris’s Charles de Gaulle. At the end of SEP, CDG had received 19.27 million passengers, edging ahead of LHR at 18.97 million. LHR chief executive John Holland-Kaye blames the UK government's "slow progress" in instituting a coronavirus testing regime for passengers for the slip.
