'Devastating Impact': CLIA Says 254,000 American Jobs, $32 Billion In Economic Activity Lost

As the cruising suspension in U.S. waters continues well into its ninth month, the industry faces an estimated US$32 billion loss and is expected to contribute to the U.S. economy less than half of what it did last year, according to a new report by CLIA. In 2019, cruising contributed $55 billion to the American economy, up 5.3% from 2018.
